My parents named me Pedro Cruz at birth but by the time I was a teenager I had everyone calling me FLAKO. I’m a self taught Latino photographer and lifelong lover of art. I was born and raised in the famous city of Boston, MA. I specialize in documentary and portrait photography but I’ve worked everything from weddings to mayoral campaigns. When I’m not running around taking pictures, I’m at home writing poetry or drawing on a wooden canvas. I live to create and create to live.
I want to share my pictures, stories, art and experiences with the world. FlakoVeli is my alter ego and this blog is my creative journal. My purpose is to inspire others to #ThinkAndCreate.
